We are very excited to announce that The Small Business Fairy has been chosen as the programme developer and facilitator for the upcoming CREATE Kilkenny programme. The course is being run by Kilkenny City Enterprise Board. The aim of the programme is to help crafters turn a hobby into a viable commercial enterprise with the possibility of having your product on display at Showcase 2013. Showcase is held in the RDS and is a very prestigious exhibition for buyers of Irelands finest crafts.
What can you do for me?
Topics covered on the course include Branding, basic Financial costing and pricing, retail margins and vat etc), Identification of marketing. All particpants will get 5 hours of individual mentoring sessions and 3 full days of group training sessions. By the end of the programme you will have your own financial dashboard with KPI’s relevant to your business and a roadmap to commerciality. You will have an understanding of your business and the steps required to grow your business. If we can get some businesses to the relevant standard those businesses will be exhibited in the RDS at Showcase 2013.
What is expected of me?
This is a very intensive programme and you will be expected to do research and development in tandem with each session. You will be expected to take part in a hidden facebook support group and some online marketing. You will be expected to be available for a ten minute update weekly phone call with us.
