We here at The Small Business Fairy couldn’t be more excited to announce not only July’s, but our very first Business of the Month!
There were oh so many creative, exciting, outstanding, excellent and deeply talented entrepreneurial businesses that applied for our July Business of the Month competition, but as well all know my darlings, there can only be the one winner this month.
Without further ado, we are so excited to announce that……

This months Business of the Month is……. Compression à la Mode!
Massive congratulations to Emma Cahill, founder and creator of Compression à la Mode, for being The Small Business Fairy’s very first Business of the Month!
Emma is a shining example of entrepreneurial skills and what can be done when you really put your mind to it. After suffering a dramatic spinal injury and a courageous recovery process, Emma was sent home from the hospital with less than glamorous compression socks to help support her nerve-damaged legs. After months of wearing the same blase compression socks and tights, she spotted a gap in the market for a spot of glamour and gave it socks.
She founded the company Compression à la Mode, and has been jumping from strength to strength since, designing and producing glamorous and stylish compression socks and tights. Compression à la Mode not only serves the local market, but has expanded to the European market. You can check out more of her amazing story here.
