We are delighted to announce that The Naveen Dunney Institute of Success is Octobers Business of the Month, our #BOM in other words. We picked Naveen for his determination and tenacity. Naveen is an NLP practitioner/life coach and personal trainer. The fascinating thing about Naveen’s journey is that he came full circle from an Accountancy background to the holistic world.
He was inspired and motivated to become an NLP trainer after many years of being lost (as he describes his own journey),” going through life with no sense of direction, no sense of purpose, doing what other people wanted for me. I was being guided by want and need to please others. Suffice to say it only led to me being used, being taken advantage of, being bullied for a very long time. I was repeating cycles of behaviour that led into spirals of despair, hurt and pain”. Naveen is not afraid to share that he even contemplated suicide at one point.
After coming to the realisation that he had been looking for love and for acceptance in all the wrong places and therefore completely attracting episodes of harassment and a lot negativity. “Eventually I’d had just enough. I couldn’t cope I felt I was drowning, gasping for air. So I quit my so called “real normal” life as a struggling accountant in the city. I came home started two years of intensive counselling working on resolving a lot of demons in my “basement” and trying to get my life together”. Then he discovered NLP and founded The Naveen Dunney Institute of Success.
Today NLP has helped Naveen to shape his life and having studied the practice, he now helps his clients to empower themselves. His passion for his work shines through. He says that “each individual person I meet inspires me, encourages me.….”. He now helps people in lots of aspects of their lives including personal training goals, life changes, reaching goals in business. His advice to those starting a business? “Find what you are really really really passionate about, be prepared for setbacks and making mistakes. It’s how you react to those setbacks that will determine how successful you are in your business”
The secret to success of any kind whether in business or a personal area in your life according to The Naveen Dunney Institute of Success is to simply “BELIEVE”.
