Examples of What’s App marketing campaigns

To get a good response requires a good marketing campaign, something unusual. Colgate invited their customers to share selfies of their smile using What’s App. They shared the relevant phone number on the toothpaste image. The winner got to be styled by Sonam Kappoor’s stylist.

Absolut Vodka connected with Woonky to built a marketing campaign around a limited edition of their Absolut Vodka collection. The challenge was to produce 4 million unique vodka bottles. In Argentina the brand held an exclusive party, with only 2 invites available to the general public. These were incredibly hot tickets. They tied the campaign in with Facebook by creating an avatar bouncer called Sven. Those who wanted to go to the party had to convince Sven using What’s App. The result was over 600 new contacts for the brand with over 1000 videos and audio messages created.
