Before you start to write your Blog,..
(we know your fingers are itching to write) – make a plan or two!
First of all, you need to think about the tone of your blog. Think about your audience; hone in on what way they think, what style and tone would encourage them to keep on reading? Then you will be successful in getting them hooked by writing titles that suit, and then follow up by leading them on by a great introductory paragraph. You could use sub-titles; these will draw your reader’s eye along the Blog content keeping their attention. You can also use video clips, graphics or pics. All of these tips will keep the attention of your audience. The more interactive your page the better.
Write about things that matter to your audience
Now, you need to choose your subject and title, don’t be alarmed! All of this takes only a little while. Don’t be shy, this is social media, have a crack at it. Off you go – start writing! Try to keep your audience’s attention, so they will read from start to finish. Another little hint is not to be too long winded, the blog does not need to be more that 500 words, oh my goodness I hear you sighing! That seems a lot! Believe me when you get into it, you will want to write faster than your fingers can type. Think about using key words that are part of your industry, they will help your SEO ranking. Remember your aim is to get your Blog Liked and Shared, then you shall have much more interest in your business and it will grow.
To Finish your Blog
End with an inspiring conclusion, ensuring you keep the full attention of the audience to your last inspiring word. Then you are done, you can read and check and the Blog. And give yourself a pat on the back, while you wait to see what happens with likes and shares, go on, go on, go on as Mrs Doyle would say. Happy Blogging!
